Lyford Cay Foundation scholar Heino W. Schmid is presenting a new exhibit of collages entitled, ‘I Spend My Time Humming…’ at the Pro Gallery of The College of The Bahamas. The show runs from March 23 – April 10, 2009.
Heino was awarded a Foundation scholarship to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated with a BFA in Photography in 2003. Two years later he became the first recipient of the Harry Moore Memorial Scholarship in the Arts and went on to earn an MFA from the Utrecht Graduate School of Visual Art and Design in The Netherlands.
Heino has exhibited extensively throughout New Providence and his work has also been featured in shows in the US, the UK, Germany and The Netherlands.
