It almost puts it into writing that I need to be aware of what’s going on in The Bahamas, and be aware of how I can come back to contribute to this country, and I feel really proud that I’m able to represent The Bahamas, hopefully in a good light.”

General Scholarships

  • Worth between $2,500 and $3,000 and primarily need-based
  • Some specialized scholarships are reserved for specific fields of study and students from the Family Islands

President’s Scholars Programme

  • A unique four-year scholarship and personal development programme which helps students cultivate their leadership skills and develop effective partnerships with peers, faculty, alumni and the greater community while encouraging them to be involved in academic, social and service oriented activities.

Semester Abroad Programme

  • These scholarships, worth $10,000 each, enable outstanding students to study at approved institutions abroad for one semester.
